Jim has been in the industry since he left school at 16. He trained as a carpenter and naturally progressed into building and construction. He began by advertising in the Blackmore Vale Magazine 15 years ago after moving to the area and since then has generated a strong client base.

He has a reputation for attention to detail, working hard and going above and beyond the call of duty for his customers.

In 2017, Jim Adams Construction Ltd was Highly Commended by The LABC Building Excellence Awards go to high quality work carried out by building and design teams who have had to deal with tough technical or construction issues on site. They shine a spotlight on the unique and creative solutions these teams have come up with and their professionalism that leads to safe, energy efficient and excellent construction projects. The awards are a level playing field where smaller firms have as good a chance of winning as large companies.

Jim and Elisa went to the awards ceremony in Plymouth, which was a sold out event for over 350 construction industry professionals.

The LABC says that their Building Excellence Awards are all about team-working. They highlight the excellent results that can be gained from great partnerships.
